"Beau" has been recognised as Australia's top Saint Bernard by National Dog Competition for 1997, 1998 and 2000. He has been awarded Best of Breed in every mainland State and has 4 All Breed Best Exhibit in Show and 3 Runner Up Best Exhibit In Show awards (Championship Shows) in 4 States, including 1999 Perth Royal Best In Show, and 1999 Darwin Royal Runner Up Best In Show, and was the Victoria's FIRST GRAND CHAMPION Saint Bernard.

Littermate to one of "Bernedale's" 6 Dual conformation title holders Aust & NZ Champion Bernedale Call Me Angel he competed constantly with "Angel" in the showring, or with dual title holder Aust & NZ Ch Bernedale Just Michelle, "Shelly" whilst "Angel" was in New Zealand.
"Beau" gained his points for his Grand Champion title under the 'original' system, where he accrued "dog" points only, not that of the most recent new system of adding "both sex points"!
"Beau" is a fine representative of our breed and displays "type, soundness of body and mind, and substance"". He positively promoted our breed Australia Wide, and allowed all to see that the Saint Bernard in Australia could be a "sound moving dog" with reach and drive, substance, type, the required saintly disposition, and he could compete at all levels, in all states.
His daughter CH Bernedale Beau’s Victory although only shown on a limited basis was highly awarded, and received Best Puppy in show Utility Dog Club, and multiple class in groups and in show.
At 9 years of age Beau sired "Turbo" who proudly continues the winning ways of his father. He also has proven himself a worthy stud dog, and we are proud to see the achievements of his son "Diesel"
